More than football

What starts on the pitch
continues in life.

A ball brings people together. A team builds connections. Street Football turns these encounters into opportunities for participation and social inclusion.

Led by Associação CAIS since 2004, the project uses sport to develop personal and social skills. Every training session and match is a chance to build confidence, take responsibility and form new relationships.

Adamastor joined the network in 2018 as Viseu's district organiser. In 2019, we took our first team to the National Tournament. Since then, the journey has brought together players, organisations and a community that believes in the power of sport.

The first step
is a conversation.

The project is for people aged 15 and over experiencing social or housing vulnerability, who are involved in social projects or supported by organisations.

Teams are formed by the organisations supporting the participants. Adamastor's team helps explain the project, participation conditions and next steps in the district of Viseu.
